Among the many materials in the packaging industry, VCI rust preventive paper is a high-tech product. Its core technology lies in VCI. VCI technology is a comprehensive technology integrating organic synthesis, physical chemistry, corrosion and protection, metal materials, paper processing, and polymers. Different VCI systems vary greatly in safety, effectiveness, environmental protection, and applicability, making them products with diverse forms and functions. VCI is the abbreviation for Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor, a corrosion inhibitor prepared through special synthetic processes. It can vaporize directly or adhere to a suitable carrier at normal temperature and pressure.
In a sealed environment, any gaps in the operating unit will be filled with a mixed gas containing VCI rust-preventing factors through self-regulating continuous volatilization. When this gas encounters a metal surface, it adsorbs onto it, forming a dense protective film only one or a few molecules thick. This protective film effectively isolates the metal surface from contact with moisture, oxygen, and other harmful atmospheric corrosion factors, preventing the occurrence of electrochemical reactions that cause metal corrosion, thus achieving good corrosion prevention. The gas-phase metal corrosion inhibitor gas can continuously and slowly vaporize at room temperature. The volatilized corrosion inhibitor vapor adsorbs onto the exposed metal surface through a chemical reaction, forming a protective film one to two molecules thick, which can prevent corrosion of the metal by oxygen, moisture, and other atmospheric factors, thus achieving rust prevention.

4. High packaging efficiency. Simple methods such as tape and staplers can seal the rust-proof film, making automated rust-proof packaging a reality.
5. Saves labor, time, and costs, with significant overall economic benefits. It still provides protection even after the packaging is opened.
6. Meets environmental protection requirements. VCI rust preventive paper is recyclable, non-toxic, and harmless to humans.
7. High weldability, good toughness, transparency, and aesthetics. The product status can be directly observed.
8. VCI rust preventive paper has excellent rust prevention performance, with a rust prevention period of up to 2 years or more. Gas barrier release is rapid, filling every corner of the packaging within 2 hours.
9. Rust-preventing particles can penetrate every corner of the packaging, achieving excellent rust prevention effects even in areas where other rust prevention products cannot be used.
