We all know that metal products are easily rusted, especially in industrial production environments. In most industrial environments, there are three main gases that cause corrosion of equipment, parts, hardware tools, and workpieces: acidic gases, alkaline gases, and oxidizing gases. Acidic gases serve as an example in the corrosion of electronic equipment. VCI Rust Preventive Paper It is a special rust-proof packaging material that uses special kraft paper (rust-proof base paper) as a carrier and applies different formulations of corrosion inhibitors to the paper. It can also be further processed into special rust-proof paper with other auxiliary functions.
VCI Rust Preventive Paper It is made by applying rust-proof liquid to kraft paper based on rust-proof powder. It is simple to operate and reusable. To solve the problems of tensile strength and breaking strength of kraft paper, auxiliary materials can be used. Kraft paper coated with VCI rust-proof liquid is produced based on these products to improve the strength of the paper. VCI rust-proof paper can be used with fabrics, PE films, etc. What are the usage methods and precautions for VCI rust-proof paper? Let's take a brief look together.
1. Rust prevention should be done before packaging, and there should be no foreign objects. If there are, the corroded parts need to be cleaned before packaging.
2. The packaging surface needs to be kept clean and dry. The surface temperature should not be too high.
3. When working, staff should wear gloves to avoid leaving sweat marks on the packaging, affecting the packaging effect.
4. If other chemical components, especially S and CI, are used to treat the packaging surface, experiments need to be conducted. If the package is pure copper, pure silver, or the copper-silver ratio is greater than 30%, strict testing is required during use.
5. Vapor phase corrosion inhibitor products should be stored indoors and protected from sunlight. If it is an outdoor activity, further subsidy measures should be taken according to the situation.
6. When the humidity of the packaging environment reaches 70%, care should be taken to avoid affecting the packaging effect and sunlight exposure.
7. After opening, it needs to be sealed and stored in time, and the remaining packaging materials should be sealed.
8. When the packaging volume exceeds 8m3 or the sum of the surface areas is more than 3 times the packaging area, rust-proof additives should be added. Rust-proof additives include rust-proof powder, rust-proof liquid, and rust-proof desiccant.
