Rust preventive film provides strong protection for the production, transportation, and use of metal products

Rust preventive film, also known as vapor corrosion inhibitor (VCI) film, is a new generation of innovative high-tech products based on the combination of polymer materials and VCI vapor corrosion inhibition technology. Rust preventive film uses special VCI technology, incorporating several corrosion inhibitors with low saturated vapor pressure into polyethylene polymer particles. These are then processed by a film blowing machine to create plastic film of a certain specification. When this film is used to package metal items, the VCI corrosion inhibitors inside begin to sublime and emit rust-preventing gas factors. These factors diffuse and penetrate the surface of the protected items, forming a dense, monomolecular protective film layer. This film layer isolates the various factors that induce rust from contact with the surface of the protected items, effectively preventing rust from forming.
The main advantages of rust preventive film include clean packaging, long rust prevention duration, and significant rust prevention effects. It is suitable for various metal parts that require rust protection, especially for the rust prevention requirements of metals and electromechanical products during processing, storage, transportation, and export. It not only provides long-term rust prevention for the protected metal but also does not require any treatment of the metal surface, offering high packaging efficiency and ease of use.
